"...God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We're Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them. We're speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he's already a friend with you."
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 MSG
Before we ever knew of Him, he knew us. Before we accepted Him, he accepted us. Before we praised Him, he cherished us. While we strayed from Him, he stayed with us. When we denied Him, he remained dedicated to us. When we couldn't believe, He helped us.
And now, we share in His work. We're speaking for Christ so that the world might know of his compassion. We work together, releasing our differences in order that we might be representatives of the reconcilliation that comes from Christ's sacrifice. When all is said and done, who but us, those who are saved and set free, will show the light of God's love to a lost world? Who else will unlock the doors to God's Kingdom among us and free the captives? Christ, our friend, our Savior, has done the most difficult task of setting things right between us and the Father. Now, it is up to us to set things right with eachother in order that others may know of His love for them.
Though we stumble, He does not falter. Though we lose hope, He is confident.
